Just got my summative back and I PASSED ! :D Not gonna put my mark here because I don’t want anyone jealous :)

Finally finished my Web 2.0 Tools assignment, wasn’t that much difficult to do.

Cut MP3 is a very useful audio web tool to use. You can go on cutmp3.net and choose an mp3 file from your saved files, then click on the song you want, and you can cut where it starts and where you want it to stop. After that you can save it and put it anywhere for example on your blog. It is useful for me because I have a phone and I can pick one of my favourite and cut the song into my favourite part of the song and I can use it as my ringtone. This tool could also be useful for anyone else who has a phone that has the same reason as me. The features of this audio web tool is cutting mp3 files into anyway you would like. Also there is a feedback feature. There are no steps to install this audio web tool because its just the web link you need to use this web tool. The website is cutmp3.net. There are some difficulties of using this tool for example you may think it is hard at first but you can start to catch on the more you use it. One limitation of using this audio web tool is that when you start playing a demonstration of the mp3 file you picked, you cannot choose where you want your song to play. For example you cannot click the song to start at 1:45, you have to play throughout the whole song to find out what part you want. So if you want a new ringtone without buying one, you can just use cutmp3.net and get your new ringtone all free!

            KidRex is a search engine similar to Google but KidRex is meant for kids. It is powered by Google Custom Search and Google SafeSearch so it is safe for the kids to use. I think it could be useful for me and other kids too because it blocks out all the inappropriate websites. It also searches mostly kid-related websites majority of the time. Some of the features of this web tool are that it is very colourful. You can also search stuff which would be useful for kids that want to find a certain website, or find game sites. To use this web tool you don’t need to install anything. Just the website Kidrex.org. Some limitations of using this web tools is that it doesn’t always block out the inappropriate websites 100%, but KidRex tries it’s best to block out all of the inappropriate websites and key words. If your kids find using Google difficult to use, then switch to KidRex! Much easier and less inappropriate.

Graffiti Creator is a painting/drawing tool where you can type any text and make it all fancy for example, you can colour in your text and include all types of different features for example, and you can add splotches to your text to make it look cooler. It would be useful because you can edit your text in any way you like and save it. So after you save it you an also put it as a display picture or you can put it as your desktop picture. There are many different ways to do with your graffiti creator. This tool could be useful to any other people that want to have a design on their name. Probably young kids can experience how to draw and edit. There are MANY different features for example you can add a shadow, or you can make an outline on your text to make it look nice. You don’t need to install anything to use this web tool, you just have to go on www.graffiticreator.net . Sometimes the difficult parts of using this web tool are that it can be confusing at first, but then you start to get use to it. One limitation of using this tool is you can’t use a text over 10 characters. If you want to start getting creative with your text you can also move around the letters in any way you like it.

For the past week, we have been working on an assignment on MS Access, where we have to make our own used item store to make profit. For me I was selling computer monitors. For example, I bought an LG W2442PA-BF monitor for $184.99, and I am selling this product for $369.98, so I am making profit. And that is what we had to do for a list of 25 different items.
